Copyright and Report

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This page describes how to notify DIY Retro Headphones (the “Site”) of alleged copyright infringement. The Site will handle notices in accordance with applicable law. Submitting a notice does not, by itself, determine ownership of any work.

1. What you may report

You may report models, photographs, text, or other files that you believe copy your work, or a work you are authorised to represent, without permission. Forum posts and user uploads may be reported in the same way.

Administrators may hide or remove material while a report is reviewed.

2. Contents of a notice

Send a written notice that includes:

  1. your name and a working email address;
  2. the URL of the page or file;
  3. a description of the original work and why you believe the material infringes it;
  4. a statement that the information is accurate, and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner;
  5. your physical or electronic signature (your typed full legal name is sufficient).

Do not attach executable files or other potentially harmful attachments. Do not use this process to harass a creator over a lawful remix, a licence you granted, or a work that is in the public domain.

3. Where to send it

hello@retroheadphone.com

Please use a subject line that identifies the message as a copyright report.

4. What we may do

We may:

  • hide or remove the listing or post;
  • request a statement from the uploader;
  • restore the material or keep it down after review;
  • suspend accounts of repeat infringers.

The Site is not a court and a notice does not adjudicate title.

5. Counter-notice

If your upload was removed and you believe the report is mistaken, write to the same address with the URL, the legal basis on which you are entitled to host the files, and your contact details. We may forward your statement to the reporter.

6. Abuse

Knowingly false notices may result in ignored correspondence, account suspension, and any other remedies available at law.
